Right now, you may be their last ember of hope.
Whatever you do today....
do it with kindness and love.
do it with a smile on your lips.
do it with a song in your mind.
do it with Jesus in your heart and soul.
We are all custom designed and created by God. Each and every one in His image. He loves us all equally and uniquely. Show His love today.

Have you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Jesus is the only way to Heaven. You can't work your way to Heaven by being a good person. You will never be perfect enough. You can't buy your way to Heaven by giving to all your favorite charities or churches. Heaven isn't for sale. The only way to Heaven is through Jesus Christ. If you haven't ask Him to be Lord of your life, don't you think it's time? Today is the day. Life is fleeting...we are only here for a short time. Where do you want to spend eternity?

ALL of us are placed just where GOD wants us. We can choose to build up or to tear down. Be a builder for God not a demolition crew for the devil. And don't let the people placed in your life tear you down.....choose to be built up in the Lord. The Bible says 'pray without ceasing'. Stay so strong in the Lord that nothing and no one can chip away at you.

If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14

If...
Such a little word....that word "if". It takes up so little space but it means so much.
In this case, "if" promises us something....
It's a word that may bring forgiveness, or it may not.
It's a word that may bring healing, or it may not.
It's a word that may bring hope, or it may not.
And its a word that may bring judgment, or it may not.
You see, "if" is conditional. Many quote this verse and seem to just assume that God is going to heal and forgive us. But we mustn't be so fast to assume this because, once again, "if" is conditional.
In this verse, God is giving us a principle. He's telling us that His blessings are conditional. Conditional on what?
This verse shows us that his blessings are conditional upon us:
1. Becoming humble
2. Prayerfully seeking God's will
3. Turning from our evil ways
Not all believe what this verse is telling us. Many American Christians cannot believe that God would judge us for our actions. They believe that God is only a God of love, and is not also a God of justice and wrath. They have been deceived.

If you never felt pain, then how would you know that I am a Healer?

If you never had to pray, How would you know that I am a Deliverer?

If you never had a trial, how could you call yourself an overcomer?

If you never felt sadness, How would you know that I am a Comforter?

If you never made a mistake, How would you know that I am a forgiver?

If you knew all, How would you know that I will answer your questions?

If you never were in trouble, How would you know that I will come to your rescue

If you never were broken, Then how would you know that I can make you whole?

If you never had a problem,How would you know that I can solve them?

If you never had any suffering, Then how would you know what I went through?

If you never went through the fire, Then how would you become pure?

If I gave you all things, How would you appreciate them?

If I never corrected you, How would you know that I love you?

If you had all power, Then how would you learn to depend on me?

If your life was perfect, Then what would you need me for?

But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.

Isaiah 40:31

Sit back and let God be the pilot in the journey of your life. But don't close your eyes, don't sleep through it. Keep your eyes open and see all the wondrous and beautiful scenery along the way. Now, on the other hand, if you take the wheel and put God in the back seat, the scenery probably won't be so pretty because you'll wind up going the wrong way!!

Our lives are the only Bible some people will ever read. The story below is a really scary example of how much people are watching us as Christians, and will put us to the test. Always be on guard -- and remember -- You carry the name of Christ on your shoulders when you call yourself 'Christian.'
Watch your thoughts ; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits..
Watch your habits; they become character.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny.
✱ Several years ago, a preacher from out-of-state accepted a call to a church in Houston , Texas . Some weeks after he arrived, he had an occasion to ride the bus from his home to the downtown area. When he sat down, he discovered that the driver had accidentally given him a quarter too much change.. As he considered what to do, he thought to himself, 'You'd better give the quarter back. It would be wrong to keep it.' Then he thought, 'Oh, forget it, it's only a quarter. Who would worry about this little amount? Anyway, the bus company gets too much fare; they will never miss it. Accept it as a 'gift from God' and keep quiet.'
When his stop came, he paused momentarily at the door, and then he handed the quarter to the driver and said, 'Here, you gave me too much change ...'
The driver, with a smile, replied, 'Aren't you the new preacher in town?'
'Yes' he replied.
'Well, I have been thinking a lot lately about going somewhere to worship. I just wanted to see what you would do if I gave you too much change. I'll see you at church on Sunday.'
When the preacher stepped off of the bus, he literally grabbed the nearest light pole, held on, and said, 'Oh God, I almost sold your Son for a quarter.' ✱

These were my sweet momma's favorite verse:

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions;if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.
John 14:1-4

In order to live a life filled with hope, we must make several choices:
Choose faith over doubt.
Choose to believe God’s word over man’s wisdom.
Choose to stand firm when the “storms” come.
Choose to count on God’s holiness instead of your own effort.

God formed Adam from the dust of the ground. He picked up a handful of dirt and created a man! Do you see the symbolism? God brought man out of the dirt and mud, and transformed him into a new creature. That's what He does for us when we are saved and give our lives to Him. HE brings us out of the dirt!! Why are so many people trying to crawl back into it? Stay out of dirt and filth of this world. Be the new creature whom God has made!!

Our canvas (our life) is imprinted by more than just God. Our canvas has the imprint of others on it....and our canvas has the imprint of our own choices on it, but God is still the artist. It doesn’t matter what someone else has splashed up on our canvas, God will create from it. He is not restricted by what’s already on my canvas.

If you don't keep your light fixtures clean and dust free your lights will become dim and you won't be able to see clearly in your home. The same goes for your light for Jesus. If you don't keep your heart and your mind clean your "Jesus light" will be dim and you won't be able to see clearly in your life. Also others won't be able to see well around you. They won't be able to see Jesus shining through.
I might not be able to climb up and clean the light fixtures in my home (My husband has given me strict orders to do no climbing on chairs or ladders)....but I can kneel down and keep my Jesus light clean. Let you light shine!!

The world says 'there's no way', but Jesus says 'I Am The Way'.
So if someone is speaking negative things in your life, if satan is whispering doubts in your ear, you just lean back and give them a big ol' confident smile and say, 'Oh yeah, well you must not know MY God. My God can make a way because HE is The Way, so you better get out of His way!!'
Keep looking to Jesus!!

When Jesus said, "Take up your cross, and follow me", He didn't mean follow Him on just warm, sunny days. He meant follow Him on those cold, dreary days when the 'snow banks' of life are surrounding you. He didn't mean follow Him on just those days when there's plenty to eat and all your bills are paid. He meant follow Him on the days when you're down to the heel slice of bread and you don't know how you're going to feed your kids because you have no money in your pocket. He meant follow Him on the days when you're bills are piled up and your electricity has been shut off, and the water meter is next. He meant follow Him whether you are driving a brand new vehicle to work or riding a bicycle to work. Just follow Him....keep your eyes on Him. Because if you fall...if you fail....and we all do...All you have to do is call out to Him. He is not going to turn around and laugh at you then walk away. He is going to pick you up, dust you off, give you a loving hug, and set you back on your path...His path! And one day...one glorious day!...you will walk with Him into Forever. And you'll know....it was all worth it. That wonderful, beautiful Forever will be worth all the days of sweet highs and dreaded lows. So, my family and friends, please follow Him...the one true God. The God of the overwhelming, never-ending love!
